The President of the Republic warns in a strong tone: The “Chlef scenario” is unacceptable – New Algeria

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, ordered the Minister of Water Resources and Water Security to double the precautionary, control and caution measures during the operations of discharging water in excess of the capacity of the full dams, and in a strong tone he warned against bearing responsibility for anyone responsible for the fluctuation in the supply of drinking water.

In the same context, he considered the incident of water outage to the residents of the state of Chlef unacceptable, and entailed bearing full responsibilities for those causing any fluctuation affecting the citizen, warning against any laxity that leads to such an incident.

During the Cabinet meeting, today, Tuesday, the President of the Republic stressed that the utmost importance should be given to respecting drinking water distribution plans nationally throughout the rest of the year.
