Margham qualifies alongside French club Bastia

The “IB Sports Management” agency, which represents the Algerian player Mehdi Merghem, announced that he has qualified to participate with the French club Bastia in an official capacity.
The Corsican team active in the second division obtained the international transfer certificate, despite the objection of the JS Kabylie club linked to the player.
Margham (28 years old) signed a contract with Bastia extending until June 2026, in the winter Mercato, after his contract was unilaterally terminated.
The Youth Kabylie Club had previously published a statement confirming the invalidity of the deal and its refusal to dismiss Marghem.
For its part, the agency representing the player responded clarifying the legality of the step he took by leaving the Canaries.
Margham owes financial dues exceeding two and a half billion centimes, related to the monthly salaries and remaining grants from his contract signed at the beginning of the season, which expires in the summer of 2027.
The “IB Sports Management” agency, run by Algerian Anis Ben Chaaban, thanked its counterpart, “Glory Glory Sport Management,” for its contribution to the success of the deal.
The agent resorted to the help of lawyers specialized in the sports field to resolve the case, such as the Tunisian Ghazi Ben Othman, the former general secretary of the Etoile Sportive Club du Sahel.
Margham played his first experience in Algeria with USM Algiers, after his departure from the ranks of Portuguese club Varense in January 2025.
The playmaker won the first title in his professional career during this short period, after Al-Ittihad defeated CS Belouizdad in the Algerian Cup final (2-0).
In addition to the aforementioned clubs, Margham represented the teams of Guingamp, Nancy and Chateauroux, which ranked in its various age groups.
