Algeria received the FIFA World Cup replica the day before yesterday, Sunday, as part of the tour organized by the International Federation, FIFA, under the supervision of the company financing the global sporting event.
The final session of the 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 of this year. This is in the United States of America, Mexico and Canada.
The demonstration witnessed a significant public turnout, as a large number of young people and families who loved football arrived from the early hours of yesterday, Monday, to closely inspect the original cup and take souvenir photos documenting this symbolic moment. This is the sixth stop within the global tour organized by the International Soft Drinks Company, the official partner of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
On this occasion, the company’s regional director in North Africa, Moataz Abdel Rahman, appreciated the support provided by the Algerian authorities, led by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in order to make this demonstration a success and enable the Algerian public to see the cup up close.
He said, in a press statement, according to what we received Algerian News Agency“I thank the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdel Majeed Tebboune Who harnessed all the necessary conditions to organize this tour on Algerian territory. For the first time since the start of this tour, the cup remains for two full days in one country, which reflects the success of the Algerian leg.”
