The new ambassador of Spain to Algeria, Ramiro Fernandez Bachier, highlighted on Monday that bilateral relations between Algeria and Spain are “at their best,” expressing his country’s government’s will to deepen and strengthen them further.

In a press statement after presenting his credentials to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in his capacity as his country’s new ambassador to Algeria, Ramiro Fernandez Bachier said that Algeria and Spain are “neighboring and friendly countries, united by ancient historical, economic and cultural ties.”

He explained that the meeting with the President of the Republic constituted “an opportunity for review and evaluation.” Bilateral relations “Between our two countries, which is at its best.”

In this regard, the Spanish ambassador highlighted his country’s government’s will to “deepen bilateral relations with Algeria and strengthen them further.”
