Today, neighborhood markets across various states of the country opened their doors to citizens, in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan, within the framework of measures aimed at ensuring the abundance of widely consumed materials and bringing them closer to citizens at competitive prices.
According to what was stated in a statement byMinistry of Internal Trade and National Market ControlNeighboring markets were opened, under the supervision of the governors, and under the patronage of the Minister of Internal Trade and National Market Control, Amal Abdel Latif.
This event comes within the framework of promotion Regular supply to the national market And bringing goods and services closer to citizens, especially as the holy month of Ramadan approaches, by providing organized shopping spaces at reasonable prices.
The number of neighborhood markets that will open their doors to citizens during the month of Ramadan reached 560 neighborhood markets, distributed across 69 states.
The national awareness campaign to rationalize consumption and reduce waste was also launched, with the aim of promoting responsible consumer behavior, especially during the month of Ramadan, and establishing a culture of moderation in purchasing and consumption, the statement adds.
