This has necessitated the establishment of an integrated governance system that guarantees the state’s sovereignty over its data, and frames the methods of producing, exchanging, and exploiting it in a safe and responsible way, in a way that stimulates enhanced performance and consolidates the confidence of citizens and economic operators in managing and using data. Thus improving the quality and efficiency of public services, directing investment and supporting government performance, as well as accelerating the pace of comprehensive digital transformation. The Prime Minister highlighted that the national data governance system has formed a fundamental pillar that plays a pivotal role in consolidating the state’s digital sovereignty and rational control of data as a strategic resource, by strengthening information security systems, enhancing data protection, and ensuring its reliability and sustainability.
