The Ministry of Education launches digital guidance and redirection processes

The Ministry of National Education announced the launch of the process of directing and redirecting students for the academic year 2025-2026, in a step that relies entirely on digitalization to facilitate procedures for parents and ensure transparency in the educational path of their children.
The Ministry explained in a statement that these two processes are carried out exclusively digitally, which allows parents to follow the course of their children’s guidance and interact with it directly. The concerned parents must access the guardians’ space within the information system of the Ministry of Education via the official link, and carry out the required procedures according to a strictly defined timetable.
The first stage begins with the expression of initial wishes, whereby parents of fourth-year middle school students and students of the two combined trunks register their children’s wishes during the period extending from February 10 to 28, 2026. The Ministry provides a second opportunity for parents to amend or confirm these wishes between March 15 and 30, 2026, with the caveat that failure to do so within the specified deadlines will lead to the initial wishes being automatically confirmed by the information system.
The crucial stage is to confirm the final wishes, which the guardians must complete between May 15 and 30, 2026, otherwise the system will confirm them automatically.
Parents will be informed of their children’s guidance decisions via point lists and the guardians’ space in the period from June 28 to July 9, 2026. The Ministry has also granted the right to appeal guidance decisions, as parents can submit appeal requests electronically between July 10 and September 8, 2026, provided that the decisions of the State Appeal Committee are announced no later than September 17, 2026, and these decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
The Ministry has allocated a redirection procedure for students who have completed a full academic year and discovered that the common stream or section does not suit their abilities or inclinations, provided that they achieve good academic results in the distinctive subjects of the targeted section. The Ministry has set the period for submitting redirection petitions between May 25 and June 23, 2026, while decisions will be announced between June 28 and July 9, 2026, with a reminder that these decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
The Ministry of Education stressed the need for guardians to adhere to the deadlines set for each stage, and to periodically monitor their accounts in the guardians’ space, to ensure the proper conduct of the guidance and redirection processes and to avoid any problems that may affect the students’ academic path.
