The National Assembly appreciates the statements of the President of the Republic – New Algeria

The Council’s office also renewed its full and responsible involvement in this comprehensive national endeavor, confirming that the legislative institution stands united behind the country’s supreme leadership, and supports all efforts aimed at protecting the supreme and vital interests of the nation.

In the same context, the Council’s office denounced in the strongest terms the advocates of defeatism and skepticism, and the attempts to spread frustration and undermine confidence in state institutions, stressing that Algeria is fortified and fortified by its rational leadership, by its People’s National Army, descendant of the Liberation Army, and by its people who are conscious and clinging to their sovereignty, and who reject all forms of foreign interference or infringement of their independent national decision.

In conclusion, the National Assembly Office affirmed its commitment to continue performing its constitutional, legislative and oversight tasks, within the framework of national responsibility, and in a way that enhances the country’s stability, preserves its unity, and safeguards its gains.

Regarding the agenda of the meeting, the two lists of representatives of the Council in the two equal-member committees were set, regarding the provisions in dispute between the two chambers of Parliament. It was decided, in accordance with Article 87, paragraph two, of the internal regulations of the National Assembly, to hold a public session at noon on Tuesday to present and determine the position regarding the two lists.
