These are President Tebboune’s statements during his meeting with representatives of the press

On Saturday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held a periodic meeting with representatives of the national press, during which he made several statements.

The Gara Jbeilat railway line is the beginning of similar projects across the country

The President of the Republic revealed that the Gaara-Jbeilat-Tindouf Bashar railway line is the beginning of similar projects in the states of the East, Central and Far South of Tamanrasset.

In this context, he said, “We have a complementary project in Bashar for the Gara Jbeilat mine with the aim of refining iron ore.” President Tebboune also stated that there is a report from a specialized Spanish studies office confirming the high and clear returns of the Gara Jbeilat mine project.

He added that the National Railway Transport Company opened 500 new jobs to meet its needs to operate the new railway line.

He also revealed that it is possible today to complete a 4-kilometre bridge within 6 months, after it previously took years to complete a similar bridge of hundreds of metres.

In this context, the President of the Republic expressed his great pride in the embodiment of this mining pipeline, which “was completed with national capabilities and in a record time,” which confirmed on the ground the saying that Algeria is a “land of miracles,” and this despite, as he said, “attempts to cast doubt on the national construction process.”

The president added that the implementation of this project proved that “the men of Algeria are still standing despite the prostration of many.”

Our goal is to achieve $400 billion annually in national income

In his media meeting, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said, “Our goal is to achieve $400 billion annually in national income by the end of 2027.”

In this context, the President of the Republic revealed that today we are exporting $5 billion in fuel, after we had not exceeded $1.7 billion.

The President of the Republic added that there are obstacles facing Algerian exports, such as construction iron, because of countries that incite against everything Algerian.

In the same context, President Tebboune revealed that in Europe, for example, the quota system was imposed on Algeria’s construction iron exports because of one European country.

He also sent a message that “there are those who do not understand the lessons of history… Algeria cannot be blackmailed because Algerians love everything that is a challenge.”

He continued by saying, “There are Algerians today who follow the biography and path of our glorified heroes, and there are those who follow the path of Belounis and Bashagha Boualem.”

Whoever has a file against any official, let him publish it

In another context, the President of the Republic said, during the statements, “I recognize freedom of expression and freedom of the press, and I work to preserve them, but I do not recognize the freedom of insults and insults,” adding, “I say it officially to journalists… whoever has a file against any official, let him publish it, provided that it is verified and found out.”

President Tebboune added, “I do not allow engaging in issues that are decided constitutionally and popularly in the name of freedom of expression, such as national unity,” as he stressed that “the law guarantees, there is no immunity for anyone… and there are officials from the Presidency of the Republic who have been brought before justice and are in prison today.”

The President of the Republic continued, “We must differentiate between freedom of expression, lack of education, and insulting others, because there is a vast gap between them.”

Our relations with Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar are more than fraternal

On the other hand, the President of the Republic affirmed that “our relations with Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar are strong and more than fraternal,” saying that “whatever affects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia necessarily affects us because we have a common history with it.”

The President added, “We have good and fraternal relations with sister Kuwait and its Emir, and with Qatar and Egypt,” recalling that “when Algeria was betrayed and attacked in 1963, the first to come to our aid was the Egyptian army.”

He continued, “When Egypt needed military support, the late Houari Boumediene was the first to respond, and he did not fail in anything,” stressing, “Our relations are good with all the Arab countries, with the exception of one state that tries every time to stir up problems in Algeria and interfere in our internal affairs.”
