The Mouloudia Club of Algiers maintained all its chances of competing to qualify for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League football competition.

Mouloudia Algiers opened the scoring in the 15th minute of the match, thanks to young striker Muslim Anatov. This was before his colleague Zinedine Farahat increased the lead, with a second goal in the 45th minute. Sudanese Al Hilal reduced the score, in the second half, through player Ahmed Salem (77th minute).
Thanks to this valuable victory, the Mouloudia Club of Algiers raises its score to seven points. It “temporarily” rose to second place in the third group standings, one point behind Al Hilal of Sudan, which, despite the defeat, maintained the top spot in the standings (8 points).
In the other match of the third group, Mamelodi Sundowns, which is ranked third with five points, will seek to return with a positive result during its travel to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to face Saint-Elois Lububo Club (4 points), tomorrow, Sunday.
In the sixth and final round of the group stage, scheduled for February 13, 14 and 15, the Algerian club will travel to South Africa to face Mamelodi Sundowns, in a confrontation that may be decisive in order to win one of the two qualification tickets, while the Sudanese club Al Hilal will host Saint Eloi Lobobo.
The top two finishers from each of the four groups qualify for the quarter-finals of the continental competition.
