Sayhi: Transparency and equal opportunities are priorities in recruitment competitions

The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Abdelhak Sayhi, called for enshrining the principle of transparency and equal opportunities in employment competitions, giving priority to the most qualified and talented people, and adopting electronic management of human resources, within a directive strategic plan based on the methodology of goals and results and promoting the principles of good governance.
This came during his chairmanship, on Tuesday, of a coordination meeting that included the frameworks of the central administration, devoted to evaluating the outcome of activities completed during the period extending from January 22 to February 2, 2026, and determining the extent of implementation of the instructions and directives he gave during previous meetings, according to a statement by the Ministry.
During the meeting, the Minister listened to detailed presentations made by the central administration frameworks, which addressed the various achievements achieved, which reflected a positive dynamic and continuous efforts aimed at improving, modernizing and simplifying the procedures for users’ access to public service, especially through the adoption of remote digital solutions.
In this context, the Minister appreciated the recorded results, calling at the same time to redouble efforts aimed at further simplifying administrative procedures, and accelerating the pace of digitization of services, especially those provided remotely, in a way that ensures improving the quality of service and consecrating the principles of transparency and efficiency in performance. He also stressed the need to strictly address any violations or practices that would harm the interest of the citizen or obstruct the process of simplifying procedures, stressing the strengthening of follow-up and periodic control mechanisms for services performed at the level of agencies under guardianship and taking the necessary corrective measures in the event that any are recorded. Imbalances.
Within the framework of improving the management of bodies under guardianship, the Minister focused on the importance of adopting the principle of efficiency in administrative and financial management, and making good use of human resources as they are the real wealth of the administration. He called for valuing the certificates and qualifications that the worker obtains after employment, within the framework of an incentive policy that encourages the acquisition of knowledge and contributes to raising the productivity of performance, which reflects positively on improving the quality of public service and the transition from traditional administration to modern administration that values its human resources.
The Minister also called for enshrining the principle of transparency and equal opportunities in employment competitions, giving priority to the most qualified and talented, and adopting the electronic management of human resources (TED), within a directive strategic plan based on the goals and results methodology, and promoting the principles of good governance.
In the same context, the Minister stressed the need to rationalize and rationalize expenditures without compromising the rights of beneficiaries, especially with regard to the services and payments provided by Social Security, stressing that management should be according to a precise plan, controlled and linked to clear goals and results that can be evaluated and followed up.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister called for intensifying coordination between the various structures, and adopting periodic evaluation of performance, in order to ensure continuous improvement of public service and enhance citizen confidence in an administration at his service and at his disposal.
