JS Saoura Club was subjected to a fraud attempt by one of the players’ agents, as announced by the Algerian South Club, today, Wednesday.
The Saoura Youth Club explained, in a statement, that it received, yesterday, Tuesday, a correspondence stating that there was an official offer from a Dutch club to include one of the team’s players, through Player Managers. He contacted the club president, demanding that the player’s transfer procedures be expedited two hours before the close of the winter transfer market in the Netherlands.
The Sura Youth Club indicated that the team president, Belkhader, then communicated directly with the sports director of the Dutch club Zwolle. Jerry Hamstra. But the latter categorically denied making any offer for the JS Saoura player, and considered what happened a scam by Manajir, who does not have any official status with the player.
The JS Saoura administration explained that Belkhader asked Al-Manajir to provide a copy of the passport or an official identity document belonging to the bidder or to the representative of the Dutch club concerned. However, this concerned person evaded providing any document proving the validity of his claims.
He pointed out Algerian club What happened was an attempt to confuse his player, as Al-Manajir stated an alleged contract value of 800,000 euros, on the night of an important match against ES Setif.
The Saoura Youth Administration confirmed its intention to prosecute Al-Manajir, who impersonated the sporting director of the Dutch club Zwolle, Jiri Hamstra. And follow it up legally before the competent bodies, including the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) courts.
