Minister Sayhi directs to accelerate the digitization of services and simplify procedures for citizens – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Abdul Haq Sayhi, stressed the acceleration of the digitization of services and the simplification of administrative procedures, while taking strict measures against any violations that affect the interest of the citizen.

The Minister’s instructions came during a coordination meeting devoted to evaluating the activities of the period extending from January 22 to February 2, 2026, and determining the extent of implementation of previous directives. Sayhi listened to detailed presentations made by the central administration frameworks on the achievements achieved in improving services, especially through the adoption of remote digital solutions.

The Minister stressed the redoubling of efforts to enhance the simplification of procedures and accelerate digitization, to ensure quality of service and transparency of performance, stressing confronting any practices that may hinder the interests of citizens, while strengthening mechanisms for oversight and follow-up and taking corrective measures when needed.

Saihi also focused on improving the management of agencies under guardianship, through efficient use of human resources, valuing employee certificates, enshrining the principles of transparency and equal opportunities in recruitment competitions, giving priority to competencies, and adopting electronic management of human resources within a clear strategy based on goals and results.

Regarding social security, the Minister stressed rationalizing expenditures without compromising the rights of beneficiaries, while ensuring tight management that is capable of evaluation and follow-up. Saihi concluded the meeting by calling for intensifying coordination between structures and adopting periodic performance evaluation to enhance the quality of public service and citizen confidence in the administration.
