On Tuesday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy, in which they touched on bilateral cooperation between Algeria and friendly Italy, and the upcoming European-African summit.
On the same occasion, they also talked about combating illegal immigration, and the upcoming visit of the Italian Prime Minister to Algeria, after the holy month of Ramadan, as an opportunity to establish the Algerian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, which was proposed by Mrs. Giorgio Meloni.
