Lieutenant General Saeed Chengriha follows up on the launch of the Alsat-3B satellite – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Lieutenant General Saïd Changriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, followed on Saturday the launch of the second satellite “Alsat-3B”.

Lieutenant General Saeed Chengriha listened to presentations and explanations about the “Alsat-3B” satellite, in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, the Director of the Algerian Space Agency, the Comptroller General of the Army, and central directors from the Ministry of National Defense and the Staff of the People’s National Army.

The first team then followed the launch of the second satellite, “Alsat-3B,” at five o’clock and one minute in the morning local time and twelve and one minute in China time, which comes after the success witnessed by the launch of the satellite “Alsat-3A,” on January 15 of this month, from the Jiuguan launch base in northwest China.

This launch, the second of its kind in less than a month, was a complete success, which is considered a distinguished achievement and another station on the path of building a new Algeria.
The team delivered the first speech on the occasion, at the beginning of which it was keen to convey to the audience the congratulations and encouragement of the President of the Republic, who closely followed all the stages of preparing and embodying this achievement worthy of which the entire Algerian people should be proud:

“I am pleased, following the success of the launch of the “Alsat-3B” satellite, which we followed this morning, Saturday, and which comes after the success witnessed by the launch of the “Alsat-3A” satellite, on January 15, to convey to you the congratulations and encouragement of Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, who paid special attention to this project and followed closely all stages of preparation and embodiment of these achievements.”

The first team also extended its congratulations, in its own name, to all those involved, urging them to make optimal use of the acquired knowledge and experience, which would ensure good control of these satellites:
“I also extend, in my own name, my sincere congratulations and congratulations to the executives and users of the Algerian Space Agency, as well as to the various interests and competencies of the People’s National Army, which contributed to the completion of these projects, urging everyone to make optimal use of the acquired knowledge and experience, which would ensure good control of these satellites, not only in terms of their operation and monitoring of their various sub-systems, but also to continue the development path.” Space technology in Algeria.

These distinguished achievements also constitute another station on the path of building a new and victorious Algeria, similar to what we will experience tomorrow in Ghar Jbeilat, on the occasion of the inauguration of the railway line between Béchar and Tindouf, which will contribute greatly to the exploitation of this important mine, and present a true picture of a rising Algeria, master of decisions and choices.”

The First Team also extended the most sincere expressions of thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China for the seriousness that the People’s Republic of China has given to cooperating with our country to embody this ambitious project, and in the various structured projects contributing to the renaissance movement of Algeria.

At the conclusion of the visit, Lieutenant General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, signed the golden record of the remote sensing ground station.
