Ministry of Interior.. Preemptive measures to protect ports from weather fluctuations – New Algeria

Yesterday, Thursday, the Ministry of Interior, Local Governments and Transport announced that it had taken a number of proactive and precautionary measures across various national ports, in anticipation of the recent weather fluctuations, to ensure the safety of people and property in all ports.

The Ministry explained in its statement that, in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Al-Saeed Saoud, measures were taken, including recruiting all agents and technical teams at the various port levels to follow up on the field situation, while harnessing the necessary human and material means to secure the port facilities.

Ships and boats were also inspected periodically and ensured that they were securely fastened, while protecting the equipment and equipment on board the ships and machinery, limiting traffic within the ports except in cases of extreme necessity, and strengthening coordination and rapid intervention mechanisms to ensure the continuity of port activity in safe conditions.

In the same context, the Ministry of Interior, Local Communities and Transport confirmed that technical teams will remain recruited and follow the situation around the clock until weather conditions improve.
