The Office of Hajj and Umrah warns those infected with these diseases – New Algeria

The National Office for Hajj and Umrah has alerted those with 09 chronic medical conditions of violating the approved health requirements, which exposes them to being returned to the homeland and being deprived of performing Hajj rituals, while bearing full responsibility for all consequences and responsibilities resulting from that.
In its statement yesterday, Thursday, the Bureau reminded those with these diseases that they are not medically qualified to perform the Hajj, and these diseases are, respectively: kidney failure that requires dialysis, advanced heart failure, chronic lung disease that requires the use of oxygen, advanced cirrhosis of the liver, severe neurological or psychological diseases, old age accompanied by dementia, pregnancy in the last three months or high-risk pregnancy, active infectious diseases, active cancer or conditions subject to strong treatments.
In the same context, the Office of Hajj and Umrah stressed the necessity of a complete and accurate declaration to the competent medical examination committee, in order to ensure the safety of the citizens concerned with performing the Hajj this season, and in accordance with the health requirements approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
