The Ministry of Health announced the extension of the third and final phase of the national polio vaccination campaign until February 5, 2026, instead of January 31, 2026, according to a ministry statement.
The Ministry explained in its statement, today, Thursday, that the extension decision aims to enable the largest possible number of children to benefit from the supplementary dose using the injected polio vaccine (VPI), according to a Ministry statement.
This decision was made based on the same statement, in view of the climatic conditions recorded during these days, and out of an interest in facilitating the movement of guardians and ensuring the best conditions for access to health institutions, allowing all concerned children to benefit from this extremely important preventive process.
