Bougherra is the new coach of the Lebanese national team – New Algeria

The Lebanese Football Federation announced today, Wednesday, that it has appointed former reserve and international team coach, Madjid Bougherra, as head coach of its first team.
The Lebanese Federation, in its brief statement published through its official account on the “X” platform, did not reveal the details of the contract that would bind it to the coach of the Algerian reserve team.
Bougherra’s appointment comes as the head coach of the Lebanese national team, succeeding Montenegrin technician Miodrag Radulovic.
The former Scottish Glasgow Rangers defender supervised the Algerian “B” team on three different occasions. The most notable of which is his victory in the 2021 Arab Cup, and the revitalization of the “Shaan 2022” final, which was played in 2023. While he recently reached the quarter-finals of the 2025 Arab Cup, along with “Al-Khader.”
Before his experiences with the “B” team, Bougherra had other experiences in the world of training, which began with the reserve team of the Qatari Al-Dakhil Club, and continued for two years. Then he supervised the Emirati club Fujairah in 2019, before he was dismissed due to poor results
