Attaf participates in the meeting of the “Tripartite Mechanism for Libya’s Neighboring Countries” in Tunisia – New Algeria

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, was commissioned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, this Sunday evening, in the Tunisian capital to participate in the ministerial meeting of the tripartite mechanism for Libya’s neighboring countries (Algeria – Tunisia – Egypt), scheduled to be held tomorrow, January 26, 2026.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs stated to Bayan that this periodic meeting falls within the framework of ongoing consultation between the three countries on developments in the Libyan crisis, as well as on ways and prospects for supporting the path of political settlement in this brotherly country under the auspices of the United Nations, on the basis of full respect for Libya’s sovereignty and unity of land, people, and institutions.
