Saadawi denies the intention to abolish Islamic education from baccalaureate subjects – New Algeria

Today, Saturday, Mohamed Saghir Saadawi, Minister of National Education, denied the existence of any intention to abolish Islamic education from the subjects of the scientific baccalaureate, stressing that the ministry remains the first guardian of national identity.

In this context, Saadawi said, today in a training day for journalists interested in educational affairs, accompanied by the Minister of Communication, that it has become necessary to adopt a calm and responsible media language, far from expressions of confrontation or escalation, with trade union organizations, to ensure educational and social security.

He revealed the establishment of a cell at the level of the Ministry of National Education, to ensure accuracy in information, avoid generalization, and devote educational and social security, to protect the sector from interpretations that may negatively affect the field, by adopting significant terms.
