Bogali confirms the strengthening of parliamentary and economic cooperation with the new Ambassador of Slovenia – Algeria

Ibrahim Bougali, President of the National People’s Assembly, received today, Thursday, at the Council’s headquarters, Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Algeria, Ms. Orška Kramburger Mandak, according to a statement by the Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Council welcomed Her Excellency the Ambassador, wishing her success in her duties in Algeria. Then he took the opportunity to mention the visit of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the Republic of Slovenia last year, explaining that it constituted a turning point that contributed greatly to giving a strong impetus to relations between the two countries, and also opened promising horizons for enhancing joint cooperation in various fields.
By the way, Boughali highlighted the depth of the historical relations between Algeria and Slovenia, stressing the need to continue working to develop and advance them, especially by strengthening parliamentary cooperation and intensifying economic and trade exchanges, in a way that rises to the level of available capabilities and the common interests of the two countries.
The President of the Council also affirmed the readiness of the Algerian legislative institution to support all initiatives aimed at expanding areas of cooperation and enhancing coordination and dialogue between the parliaments of the two countries.
For her part, Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia expressed her thanks to the President of the National People’s Assembly for the warm reception, conveying to him the most sincere greetings from his Slovenian counterpart, and praising the level of relations between the two countries.
Based on the statement, the ambassador reaffirmed her country’s desire to work to consolidate bilateral relations, especially in the economic and parliamentary fields, in a way that reflects the joint will of Algeria and Slovenia to build a strong and sustainable partnership.
