Algiers witnessed the organization of joint military performances and exercises between the US Marine Corps in Europe and Africa, based in Naples, Italy, and the 1st Ceremonial Regiment of the Republican Guard Command, as part of a first-of-its-kind visit by this American squad to Algeria.
These performances were characterized by the exchange of military marches, musical rhythms, and protocol performances, in a scene that reflects the level of coordination and professionalism that characterizes the existing cooperation between the two military institutions.
