Algeria and Italy sign academic twinning agreements – New Algeria

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamal Badari, supervised this Thursday afternoon, at the Ministry’s headquarters, the signing ceremony of twinning and partnership agreements between Algerian higher education institutions and the University of Genoa – Italy, and the Regional Agency for Economic and Financial Development – Liguria Region, in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Algeria, Alberto Cotello, the President of the University of Genoa and his accompanying delegation.
The Ministry’s statement explained that the agreements aim to enhance cooperation and exchange in the field of research, as well as transfer expertise in the field of entrepreneurship, emerging institutions and business incubators, and encourage mobility on both sides for the benefit of components of the university family.
The Algerian university institutions concerned with the agreements include: University of Medea, University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene – Bab Ezzouar, University of Oran 1, University of Tlemcen, University of Constantine 3, University of Ouargla, National Polytechnic School – El Harrach.
