The Foreign Bank of Algeria opens its third agency in France – New Algeria

The Foreign Bank of Algeria, through its international branch in France, opened its third agency in this European country recently, specifically in the city of Marseille, according to what the parliamentary representative of the community, Tawfiq Khadim, said on social media.
The same source said that this new agency has become 100% operational in accompanying institutions and members of the Algerian community residing in Europe.
Those in charge of the international branch of the Foreign Bank of Algeria were able to open the new agency after obtaining the required licenses about a year ago, including the activity license issued by the European Central Bank.
This agency is also considered the third agency to be opened in France, after a first agency in Paris and a second in the “Saint-Denis” region in the Parisian suburbs, where a large number of members of the Algerian community live.
Mohamed Lamine Labou, director of the new agency in Marseille, said in statements he made to the French-language public television channel “Canal Algerie” that the opening of the latter comes in a broader context that encourages foreign investments, especially those embodied by members of the Algerian community abroad, adding that these people have become real economic actors.
