Sidali Zerrougui, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, revealed a project to embody the financial transfer service between banks, through the “Bridi Mob” application, to allow transfers from a current postal account to a bank account.
In his response to a written question by the representative of the National People’s Assembly, Suleiman Zarqani, bearing No. 061, dated January 13, the minister confirmed that the project had been subjected to technical tests conducted by the technical teams of the Algeria Post Corporation in coordination with the automatic cash company and the automatic relations between banks “Satim” and the concerned banks, and it is expected that this service will be put into operation during the current year.
The Minister explained that, within the framework of enhancing electronic payment, the Algeria Postal Corporation has integrated withdrawal and payment operations through various electronic payment channels (WAP), via the Internet, through automated banking windows and electronic payment terminals.
