Today, Wednesday, the frameworks of the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry met with their Omani counterparts, the Omani investment authorities, to study and discuss joint investment opportunities between the economic operators of the two countries, using the technology of remote video lectures, according to what was stated in a statement by the Ministry.
The statement explained that this meeting came within the framework of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman, and in implementation of the outcomes of the working visit made by the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Dr. Wassim Qouidari, to the Authority of Oman last December.
This meeting also comes as an embodiment of the outcomes of the recent visit made by the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry to the Sultanate of Oman, where opportunities were discussed to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and joint investment between the two countries, in the areas of developing the pharmaceutical industry, exchanging expertise and technical experiments, supporting research and development and transfer of technology while facilitating the access of Algerian pharmaceutical products to the Omani markets and its neighboring countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed on the importance of continuing coordination and joint work, in order to translate the joint political will into practical programs and effective partnerships that benefit the pharmaceutical industry sector in Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman, with the exchange of visits between the frameworks and the adoption of a timetable for all the operations that will be taken by the two countries to implement the agreed upon road paper in the field of the pharmaceutical industry.
