Ashraf Director General of National SecurityAli Badawi, inaugurated three new security headquarters in the state of Sidi Bel Abbes, today, Tuesday, within the framework of the General Directorate of National Security program aimed at strengthening security coverage and improving the quality of police service provided to citizens.
In this context, the headquarters of the Rapid Intervention Battalion (02) was inaugurated, located on “Street”Aissat Idir“In the state capital, it is a security facility that falls within the efforts aimed at supporting operational teams and enhancing the capacity for rapid and effective intervention in the urban environment, especially in the field of combating various forms of crime, as explained by the Chief of Security of Sidi Bel Abbes State, Police Superintendent Ziat Tawfiq.
The same official explained, in a statement to the press, that this new security facility includes social, health and sports facilities, which will provide appropriate conditions for National Security personnel to perform their duties in comfort, which will reflect positively on improving police performance and improving the security service provided to citizens.
The sixteenth urban security headquarters was inaugurated, located in the 1,500 “Adl-Al-Imtiaz” housing district in the state capital, within the framework of expanding the urban security network and bringing the police closer to the citizen, which contributes to enhancing security and public tranquility within the new residential neighborhoods.
In this regard, he pointed out that this facility constitutes a qualitative addition to supporting field work, optimally handling citizens’ concerns, ensuring the security of people and property, as well as contributing to preventing and combating urban crime in its various forms.
The visit included the inauguration of the “Talmouni” external urban security headquarters, located in a neighborhood of 2,600 homes with various residential types, affiliated with the “Mustafa Bin Ibrahim” department, which in turn falls within the security strategy aimed at expanding security coverage and achieving a balanced spread of police services.
The head of state security explained that this facility will contribute to strengthening the neighborhood work of the police, and establishing a sense of security among citizens, in addition to providing a quality security service that responds to the aspirations of the residents of these new neighborhoods.
