The Ministry of Religious Affairs denies statements attributed to Minister Belmehdi – New Algeria

Today, Monday, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments refuted statements circulated on social media that were falsely attributed to the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Youssef Belmehdi, regarding eating meat during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ministry explained, in a statement, that a page on social media published false statements, impersonating a national media outlet, stressing that the Minister did not make any statement about eating meat during the holy month of Ramadan.

It also confirmed that the official statements of the Minister, as well as the Ministry’s data and news, are published exclusively through the Ministry’s official website as well as its documented pages on social media sites.
