Saadawi stresses the transparency of the competition for hiring professors – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Minister of National Education, Mohamed Saghir Saadawi, chaired a national symposium via visual lecture technology, devoted to evaluating the progress of educational and administrative work, and following up on a number of files, most notably the competition for hiring professors.

The Minister stressed the need to strictly adhere to the legal and regulatory texts framing the competition, especially with regard to submitting nomination files and certificates, while ensuring transparency and equal opportunities among all candidates.

In this context, the opportunity was opened for education directors to raise their concerns regarding the registration process.

Pointing out the establishment of a follow-up cell at the central administration level to handle and address inquiries.

Saadawi also highlighted the existing level of coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education to cover the sector’s needs for professors.

By expanding the network of higher schools for professors and opening attachments across various states.

Regarding the situation of members of trade union organizations, the Minister stressed that its settlement takes place within the framework of the law and in consultation with social partners.

Calling for the appointment of those concerned in accordance with the established procedures until the final decision on the files.

At the conclusion of the symposium, the Minister called for continued care of educational institutions.

And follow up on sports activities and intellectual and scientific competitions, while ensuring their effectiveness at the local level.
