Nabil Bentaleb expresses his optimism that Algeria will qualify for the quarter-finals – Algerian newspaper Al-Hiwar

The Algerian international and midfielder of the French club Lille, Nabil Bentaleb, expressed his optimism that the Algerian national team would qualify for the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, despite his absence from participating in the tournament for technical reasons.

Despite not being in the ranks of the “Greens”, Ben Taleb announced his full support for his teammates who will play in the 16-final match against the Democratic Republic of the Congo, scheduled for next Tuesday.

The French club Lille published a short video on the “X” platform in which it congratulated the team’s players on the New Year, led by Nabil Bentaleb, who showed his keenness to support the national team despite his feeling of regret at being removed from continental competition.

Ben Taleb said in his message: “Happy New Year… and we are waiting for Algeria to win. We will defeat the Congo.”

It should be noted that Algeria’s match against the Democratic Republic of the Congo will start on the floor of the “Moulay Hassan” stadium on Tuesday, starting at 17:00 local time.
