During its weekly meeting, on Wednesday, in the framework of following up on major public projects, the government was informed of the progress of a number of projects related to the completion of urban poles, sports and road facilities, in addition to the development of Algerian airspace management.
This came in a statement from the Prime Minister’s interests, which stated that the Prime Minister, Seifi Gharib, chaired this Wednesday, December 31, 2025, a government meeting devoted to studying several points.
In this regard, the same statement stated that the government listened to a presentation on the preparation of the social map for Algeria, as this initiative aims to create a tool to assist in decision-making, allowing for the establishment of an integrated system for planning, coordination and follow-up, aimed at directing public policies and financial resources in an effective manner towards priority development programs at the national and local levels.
On the other hand, the same source adds, the government continued to study the projects registered within the framework of embodying the digital transformation in our country in accordance with the directives and instructions of the President of the Republic.
In this regard, the statement continues, the government continued to study the progress of digitization of ministerial sectors, with the aim of enhancing transparency, combating bureaucracy, and facilitating fair and effective access to information and public services.
The statement indicated that the government continued to study the National Portal for Digital Services project, “Dzair Digital Services,” which regulates digital public services directed to citizens, thereby contributing to improving their quality and enhancing their effectiveness, in addition to simplifying administrative procedures by allowing unified access to digital public services.
The Prime Minister’s statement of interests explained, “In addition, this national platform would also enhance digital exchanges between various administrations, allowing for a better vision of public policies.”
Finally, the statement confirmed, “Within the framework of following up on major public projects, the government reviewed the progress of a number of projects related to the completion of urban poles, sports and road facilities, in addition to the development of Algerian airspace management.”
