During his visit to the camp, the Minister exchanged conversations with the participating young people coming from various states and African countries and looked closely at the educational, cultural, recreational and sporting activities programmed within the camp, noting the prevailing fraternal atmosphere that reflects the depth of human and cultural ties between the youth of the African continent.

In the same context, the Minister pointed out the role of camping and traveling in establishing a culture of self-reliance, respect for the environment, and love of the homeland, stressing his ministerial department’s support for all youth institutions in order to provide the opportunity for the largest possible number of this segment to participate in such purposeful activities.

On the same occasion, the Minister of Youth announced the launch during the current year 2026 of the construction of a Shabani camp with a capacity of 400 beds in the touristic municipality of Tiout, south of Naama state.
