President Tebboune: The unemployment rate in Algeria ranges from 9.5 to 10% – New Algeria

This evening, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, confirmed that the unemployment rate in Algeria ranges from 9.5 to 10%.

In a speech addressed to the nation before the parliament gathered in its two chambers at the Palace of Nations in the Pine Club, the President of the Republic said that “Algeria is a social state and we will not abandon this approach,” noting that the basis for the declaration of the Algerian state was the statement of November 1, 1954, which “we will not replace it and there will be no other.”

In this regard, he recalled the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs who established this statement and took up arms to liberate the homeland and “build a social, democratic state with our Islamic principles.”

The President of the Republic added, saying: “We will not stop social assistance directed to the ordinary citizen, as it is his right,” recalling in this regard the various decisions that have been taken and the programs that have been completed, which include the sectors of housing, education, health, and others, concluding by saying: “There is no country in the world that has a social policy like Algeria.”
