Boudjemaa supervises the graduation ceremony of the batches of officers and re-education agents – New Algeria

Lotfi Boudjemaa, Minister of Justice, Keeper of Seals, supervised today, Monday, at the headquarters of the National School for Prison Administration Staff in Kalia, the graduation ceremony for the first batch of chief re-education officers, the thirtieth batch of re-education officers, and the thirty-ninth batch of re-education officers.

A statement from the Ministry explained that the batches include (1,672) trainee students, including (55) chief re-education officers, (88) re-education officers, and (1,529) re-education assistants, who followed training for a period of 12 months, alternating between theoretical studies and applied work.

These students benefited from a training program adapted to the requirements of prison reform within the framework of modernizing the administrative and financial management of penal institutions and upgrading educational, health and psychological activities for detainees in order to prepare them for their social reintegration within international standards for the protection and respect of human rights.

The graduation ceremony witnessed the presence of the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, the Secretary-General of the Government, the Governor of the State of Tipaza, the President of the State Council, the Attorney General of the Supreme Court, the President and Governor of the State Council, the President and Governor of the Conflict Court, the Director-General of National Security, and the Director-General of Customs, in addition to representatives and executives of judicial, military and local bodies.
