The coach explains and the player’s agent responds
Sergey Jakirovich expressed his satisfaction with the final result of the match, despite his players facing a team at the bottom of the league table.
The Hull City club website quoted the statements of the Bosnian coach, who took over the technical crossbar for the Tigers at the beginning of the current season.
Jakirovic said: “In the end, with the level we showed today, I think I am very convinced of the break-even point.”
The coach commented on Bellomi’s replacement by saying: “I felt a spasm in my hamstring muscle. He will undergo an MRI to examine the damage.”
Jacerovic seemed not optimistic about the appearance of his Algerian player against Middlesbrough, tomorrow evening, in the 24th round of the “Championship”.
He attributed the reason to the location of Bellomi’s injury, as he said in this regard: “I pray to God that I am wrong in my assessment. We will see after he carries out the necessary tests. He was previously injured in the same place during the Southampton match.”
For its part, the “Clásico MZ” agency, which owns the rights to represent the player, denied the news circulated by some national media.
The agency described all the information circulating as incorrect and insisted that the site of the injury was not in the knee.
