The Meteorological Department announced weather forecasts for tomorrow, Sunday, indicating rain in a number of western states, with snowfall recorded in the western highlands, whose height exceeds 1,200 metres, in addition to a severe cold wave in several regions of the country.
The same interests reported that the northern regions will experience sunny weather in the center and east, while the weather will be from sunny to rainy in the western regions, with snow falling in the highlands. The rains affect the states of Saida, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, El Bayadh, Naama and Bchar.
Temperatures are expected to range between 16 and 19 degrees in coastal areas, and between 6 and 17 degrees in inland areas, while wind speeds will reach 30 km/h.
It is also expected to record a severe cold wave in the states of Naama, El Bayadh, Laghouat, Batna, Khenchela and Tebessa.
