The National Bureau of Meteorology reported today, Wednesday, that heavy thunderstorms and snowfall were recorded, with a significant drop in temperatures across several states of the country.
The Diwan explained in a first-level warning in yellow that the states affected by heavy snowfall are Batna, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, M’Sila, Tizi Ouzou, and Tlemcen.
The same interests also indicated that the provinces concerned with rainfall are: Tizi Ouzou, Medea, Chlef, Mostaganem, Relizane, Mascara, Tiaret, Saida, Ain Temouchent, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, Bouira, Ain Oleander, and Oran.
The states of Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, M’Sila, Djelfa, Tissemsilt, and El Bayadh will witness a severe cold wave starting today, Wednesday.
