It is noteworthy that the new railway line, extending over about a thousand kilometers, took only a year and a half to complete, according to what he highlighted president On the same occasion, announcing that another line will transport phosphate to Annaba.

It is worth noting that the Gara Jbeilat iron mine is one of the largest Mines Open reserves in the world in terms of reserves estimated at about 3.5 billion tons of crude oil.
To value the iron ore in the mine and transport it, there was a project to complete a new railway line (Bachar-Tindouf-Gara Gebeilat) over a distance of 950 km, including the completion of three large sections and linking them to the Bashar-Oran line.
