Attaf meets with his Egyptian counterpart – New Algeria

reported Ministry of Foreign AffairsIn a statement, the two parties reviewed the results of the ninth session of the Algerian-Egyptian Higher Joint Committee, held in Cairo on November 26, where they appreciated the quality of these results.
In the same context, they stressed the great importance that the leaders of the two countries, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, attach to everything that would contribute to the growth and development of fraternal relations, cooperation and partnership between Algeria and Egypt.
On the broader level related to regional and international situations, the bilateral meeting represented an opportunity to exchange views on a number of issues that are at the core of interest of the two countries.
This concerns the situation in Gaza in particular, the Palestinian issue in general, the crises in Sudan and Libya, as well as developments in the security and political scene in the Sahel-Saharan region.
This meeting comes within the framework of the official visit made by Ahmed Attaf to Cairo to participate in the second session of the African-Russian Partnership Forum at the ministerial level.
