The Civil Protection Directorate of Medina announced that an earthquake had been recorded today, Thursday.
The directorate explained, in a statement, that an earthquake measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale was recorded.
The statement indicated that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 10 kilometers northeast of the municipality and district of Waza, according to information obtained from the Research Center in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Terrestrial Geophysics.
The Directorate confirmed that no intervention or appeals to citizens were recorded in this regard.
