The Prime Minister receives the Chadian Minister of Petroleum carrying a written message to President Tebboune from his Chadian counterpart – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Prime Minister Sefi Gharib received, today, Wednesday, at the Government Palace, Ndulinodji Alex Nyambaye, Minister of Petroleum, Mines and Geology of the Republic of Chad, who delivered to him a written letter addressed to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, by his Chadian counterpart, Mohamed Idriss Deby.

The meeting took place in the presence of the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, Mohamed Arkab.

According to a statement by the Prime Minister’s Department, the talks constituted an opportunity to highlight the relations of brotherhood and solidarity that unite the two brotherly countries and to review the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the fields of hydrocarbons, energy and mines.

On this occasion, the Chadian Minister expressed her great satisfaction with the results of her visit to Algeria and the prospects for cooperation that were established between the two sides, stressing her country’s interest in benefiting from Algeria’s experience and its will to build a bilateral partnership in the fields of energy and mines.

For his part, the Prime Minister affirmed Algeria’s readiness to enhance bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Chad in all fields, and to accompany the efforts of this brotherly country in developing the hydrocarbons, energy and mining sectors. In implementation of the joint vision of the leaders of the two countries, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his counterpart, the President, Mohamed Idriss Deby, expressed during the meeting that brought them together last September on the sidelines of the Intra-African Trade Exhibition organized in Algeria.
