British police announced tightening their measures against demonstrators who raise banners or chant slogans targeting Jews, after a series of violent incidents, the most recent of which was the Bondi Beach attack in Australia, which killed 15 people during the Jewish Hanukkah celebrations, and a previous attack on a synagogue in Manchester.

“Words have meaning and consequences,” London and Manchester police said in a joint statement.
