The National Meteorological Office warned, in a special weather bulletin on Monday, of heavy thunderstorms falling in a number of states across the country.
According to a second level alert from the National Bureau of Meteorology in orange regarding the weather condition, the states concerned with rainfall ranging between 30 mm and 50 mm, and may reach or exceed locally 60 mm, starting from nine o’clock in the morning on Monday until six o’clock in the morning tomorrow, Tuesday, are: Biskra, Batna, Khenchela and Tebessa.
In another alert for the Diwan of the second level in orange, rain ranging between 20 mm and 40 mm will fall starting from six in the morning of today, Monday, until three in the morning of tomorrow, Tuesday, in the states of: Béchar, Beni Abbes, Naama, Tindouf, North Tamanrasset, Ain Salah, North Illizi, Ouargla, El Oued, Touggourt, El Mughir and Ouled Jalal.
