Ministerial instructions on the necessity of completing educational structures within the specified deadlines

On Saturday, Ouargla, the Minister of National Education, Mohamed Saghir Saadawi, gave instructions on the necessity of completing educational structures within the specified deadlines.

Saadawi, who was accompanied by the Minister of Sports, Walid Sadi, during his supervision of the urban site of 5,100 homes in the Bamendel region in the municipality of Ouargla, to lay the foundation stone for the completion of a number of educational institutions, explained that “the education sector suffers from backward projects that are registered and do not start, or that they are launched and not completed on time,” giving in this regard instructions on the necessity of follow-up and respecting the specified completion deadlines.

He continued, saying, “The planning of the education sector in the state, in coordination with local groups, must be based on a future vision that is compatible with the urban expansion of the city, so that we are not surprised by the presence of new neighborhoods devoid of educational institutions.”

During this visit, the ministerial delegation supervised the laying of the foundation stone for a middle school project, in addition to launching construction work for a primary school.

In the same location, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of a secondary school that can accommodate 1,000 pedagogical seats, and includes 34 classrooms, three technology laboratories, six other science and physics laboratories, a music workshop, and another for drawing.

A sum of money exceeding 491 million dinars was allocated for this project, while the deadline for its completion was set at 14 months, according to the project’s technical card.

On the other hand, the Minister of National Education, accompanied by the Minister of Sports at the National Institute for the Training of Educational Frameworks, Sheikh Al-Fadil Al-Wartalani, located in the state capital, gave the signal for the launch of a special training course for physical education and sports inspectors for the primary education stage.

It is noteworthy that this training course includes the participation of 85 physical education and sports inspectors from various regions of the country.

At the conclusion of the visit, the ministerial delegation at the urban center on February 27, 1962 in the municipality of Ain El Bayda supervised the inauguration of a secondary school and a primary school in the Sakanat Khalfaoui neighborhood in the municipality of Sidi Khuwaylid.
