CS Belouizdad qualifies for the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup – Algerian Dialogue

CS Belouizdad qualified for the group stage of the African Confederation Cup, following its victory on Friday evening against its guest, Hafia Conakry of Guinea, with a score of 2-0 (first half: 0-0) at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki for the second leg of the second preliminary round of the continental competition.
After the end of the first half in a goalless draw, “Al-Shabab” was able to open the scoring through player Meziane in a beautiful way in the 55th minute, before his colleague Bousouar increased the score in the 68th minute.
The Algerian club had returned from Senegal with a valuable draw (1-1), during the first-leg matches that took place last Sunday in the city of Thies. The goal for “Al-Shabab” was scored by player Nofal Khasif.
As for Algeria’s second representative in the continental competition, USM Alger, it was defeated in the first leg by the Ivorian Academy Fadd Diallo (1-0), and will be forced to turn the tables at the 5 July Olympic Stadium, tomorrow, Saturday (14.30).
The Soustara squad, which will be crowned with the continental title in 2023, will be deficient in several basic elements, without regard to the pressure that will be placed on the players in facing the Ivorian competitor.
This match will be managed by a Congolese refereeing team led by Pierre-Jean Nguyen, with the assistance of Vital Dectin Mel Glovil Mapangulu and Previna Jean-Preslas Malanda, while Vital Charel Just Kokolo will be the fourth referee.
