The state is committed to monitoring the situation of the community on an ongoing basis

On Saturday, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the national community abroad, Sufyan Shayeb, supervised the first virtual meeting of its kind with the daughters and sons of our community residing in the German province of Hamburg, within the framework of following up on direct and continuous communication with members of the national community abroad, stressing that the state is committed to continuously monitoring the situation of the community.

This comes on the occasion of their participation in the mobile consular tour organized for their benefit by the services of the Algerian Embassy in Berlin, in the presence of the Algerian Ambassador to Germany.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, the Secretary of State affirmed his personal keenness to provide instructions to the heads of diplomatic and consular centers to generalize and intensify the work of the mobile consular duty system to the places of residence of our nationals and to expand its scope, because of this mechanism’s positive and effective role in providing consular services to members of the community and overcoming the difficulties they encounter in moving to embassy headquarters. And consulates, in addition to strengthening ties of trust with consular and diplomatic centers.

This meeting, which was dominated by positive interaction, took place in a friendly and fraternal atmosphere, as it made it possible to learn about their conditions, listen to their concerns, and monitor their opinions and suggestions, with the aim of ensuring optimal care for them and a better response to their aspirations, according to the same statement.

Secretary of State Sufyan Shayeb also noted the care given by the country’s higher authorities to its community abroad, praising at the same time the protection, care and attention that this group enjoys from the state and its commitment to constantly monitoring their situation and strengthening their ties with the motherland.
