The President of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Taboun, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, chaired today, Sunday, a meeting of the Council of Ministers, which was devoted to presentation and approval of the Finance Bill for the year 2026.
A statement to the Council of Ministers stated that the meeting resulted in the approval of the Finance Law 2026, taking into account the directives of the President of the Republic to draw a balanced and effective financial policy.
In this context, the President of the Republic stressed the need to draw clear financial political features for the coming year, ensuring the continued implementation and flow of investments, stressing at the same time the preservation of major financial balances, and the guarantee of the permanence of social transfers that represent one of the pillars of national policy.
He also ordered the President of the Republic not to impose new taxes, while heading towards the establishment of a non -pressing tax container, which enhances fiscal justice without affecting the purchasing power of citizens.
