Learn about the partnership project between Algeria and the Center for Immigration Governance – New Algeria

Honor Minister of Interior and Local Communities The transfer, Saeed Said, today, Wednesday, in Algiers, to launch a partnership and cooperation project between Algeria and the International Center for the Development of Immigration Policies in order to enhance capabilities in immigration governance.

He attended the launch ceremony of this project Director General of the International Center To develop immigration policies, Michael Spremple, the Director General of Consular Affairs and the National community abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Rashid Maddah, Deputy Director General of International Migration in the Netherlands, Victor Kremir, along with the Deputy Minister of State in charge of Immigration in Switzerland, Handrick Krosskuev and Denmark Ambassador to Algeria, Catherine Frum Hayer.

In a speech delivered by the way, Sawid explained that this project is a “episode of the series of constructive cooperation between the Algerian authorities and the International Center for the Development of Immigration and Denmark Policies, the Netherlands and Switzerland.”

By the way, the Minister stated that “Algeria’s keenness to enhance its involvement in international efforts through ratification of a number of agreements and related treaties”, especially those that “concern human rights and the dignity of migrants” as it sought at the same time- adds the minister- to protect its national interests, and to maintain constructive and respectful relations with neighboring countries, realizing that coordination and cooperation are the most effective way to face common challenges
