The Algerian News Agency launched its news tape in the language EnglishThis Wednesday, in a move aimed at strengthening its media presence and bringing the voice of Algeria to a broader range.

Mr. Qaid explained that this tape is “the fruit of a long work for a specialized team”, so that this modern technology platform will allow the news to broadcast in an immediately English language, reflecting “the keenness of the Algerian News Agency to open up to the most frequently traded languages at the global level.”
He added that “this initiative falls within the path of a comprehensive update,” which is the purpose of it, “is the harmony and adaptation to the deep shift witnessed by the news agencies in the world that move towards the model +comprehensive media agencies.”
He mentioned, in the same context, in launching The website The new agency has its six (06) interfaces in national and foreign languages, such as Arabic and Berber, in addition to English, French, Spanish and Russian, last week, which is characterized by modern technologies with the adoption of the highest standards of cybersecurity, knowing that the development of this site was carried out by the agency’s competencies, by 100 percent, which reflects the agency’s awareness and rapid involvement in the endeavor of the President of the Republic, which approved a strategic plan to enhance digital sovereignty Patriotism.
In this regard, the Algerian News Agency counts about 12 projects in the field of developing its digital system and modernization of platforms with the aim of providing quality and innovative news services that respond to the requirements of subscribers and advanced needs recorded by the media field and its new professions.
On the goals expected behind the launch of the news tape in the English language, the Agency’s general manager stated that it will be a “basic tool to highlight national news abroad and to enhance the Algerian media presence on the international scene, in addition to enabling the agency to raise the dynamics of international news exchange and positioning within a higher level in this field, especially since the finest news exchanges between agencies in the world are done through this most traded language.”
